HAPPY WINTER BREAK!
After hours upon hours spent sitting in Powell, trying to study but instead sitting there wishing the guy next to you would just get up and blow his nose instead of sniffling ever 5 seconds, finals are finally over […for most of us.] Now we can put the shame of all that finals junk food we consumed [don’t lie, I work on campus and I know how many peach rings were bought] and that time we may have ran down the street naked during midnight yell just to relieve some stress behind us. Finals are over, and now we get a much needed month-long break of going home, celebrating whatever holiday we choose to celebrate, and catching up on all those episodes of Glee we missed this quarter…in secret, of course.
Before you log off and start shoving your face full of the Cafe 1919 gelato you bought with the last of your swipes, let me please say a few things:
- Get ready for some improvements next quarter. This month I plan on updating the design of the blog in order to get bigger photos on here. I’ll also order some business cards (it’s been requested quite a bit) and crack open my Nikon D7000 for dummies book. Basically, I’m going to learn every crazy little feature on this beast of a camera and get some much higher quality photos up on the blog.
- Speaking of business cards, if there are any people who are gifted with graphic design skills and feel like helping me out, I would greatly appreciate it! I can design something kind of decent-lookin myself, and that is probably what I’ll do, but I would love to see what my followers can create!
- Lastly, I would like to thank you all for a lovely first quarter of running this blog. I was slightly afraid no one would be interested in this blog when I started it. I didn’t want to be known as the creepster who took pictures of strangers for a blog that no one read. So I was pretty surprised when followers started showing up like crazy and I stated getting lots of messages. Seriously, I love the messages. Sometimes they’re nice, sometimes they are kind of mean, but they are all generally pretty helpful.
So to end this I want to know what YOU want to see next quarter. More boys? More South Campus? More/less frequent posting? Less pictures of girls in maxi skirts? Let me know! Send me a message on here or email me at royceandwilson@gmail.com.
And with that, I’m off. Kudos if you read through all of this. Here’s to a fantastic break!
